Hi Massoodji

First of all let me know thank you for all your time and efforts in answering to the questions posted here. You are definitely a very valuable resource....

I wrote my canadian citizenship test on Mar 10th in Scarborough center. Its close to three months now and I am still waiting for the results. I called them twice and there is no convincing answer from them as to where the delay is... Couple of guys whom I know, received their Oath date who wrote the test after me(I mean who wrote the test after 10th March)...

Is there something that I need to worry about ? Also do you think I need to approach them in a different way to get my status. Please let me know what is the best thing for me to do at this time. Also how long do you think I need to wait patiently...

The only thing that can hold your application is security check. Start writing to them. If they don't respond, get a lawyer.

May be this is trivial question for you, but the answer means a lot to me. Please eloborate what you mean....

What is security check and how long it might take(if it is security check infact). Will they do it after writing the test...

Will your firm take up my case at this stage if I am interested....

We do not treat any question as trivial. If I did, I would be long gone from this forum.

Security check is very wide and broad. It can mean many things these days ... from membership in minor organisations to membership in AlQaeda.

Try writing to them first yourself before you spend money on us. If all fails, we will try to help you.

I have given citizenship written exam on july 26, 2004
and today it's Nov18, 2004.

Almost four months passed , but still no oath..
I called today CIC center...
& they say it's very slow in scarborough.
& it might take more two months......

i will wait for a while now... may be one more month...
& then definately i need to do some thing....

Please help ...
