Hi All
Today i went to Canadiandesi picnic and was amazed as to how many people are intrested in playing cricket ( infact all).I am wondering why dont we start Playing cricket on weekends as a cricket kit is also available and green fields also not a problem in Toronto.
Lets keep August 7 or 8 as the date and we will decided spot as per experienced people's view (who are already playing) and timeto be decided as per everyone's convienience The city will be toronto and we will try and keep the spot as accessible as possible.All we need is 22 Players.For that we will select first 22 people who wants to be involved and post their desire to play on this forum.
Me being a cricket enthusiast will be the First one to register for the game.
We also have 1-2 spots for umpires if anyone is intrested and audiences are always welcome.
I hope that we are able to accomodate all.

It seems that desi are not interested that much in cricket at this point of time?

From what i know is desis are always intrested in cricket but the only problem with them in general is that no one wants to be first.You will always find people stopping at a crowded place but never at empty one.Same is the case here.
But by replying to this post u have affirmed ur intrest so kindly open up and declare ur participation in this match as the seats are limited and we might have to DROP you .
