Hi Members,

Which is the best place to invest RRSP funds? I am looking for a fund/Company which provides a good return as well as one with less expense ratio. I think most of the big bank have huge expense ratio which in turn reduces the return on investments.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Timon

Honestly, there can not be a definite answer to this question.

Returns in any investment (registered or non registered) would depend on a number of factors such as the time horizon, the purpose of investment, the risk profile / tolerance of the investor and type of investment chosen to attain these objectives.

One should discuss all these and other factors with ones 'financial advisor', clarify all the related issues and then should take decision about serious investing as RRSP investments are for retirements and due consideration should be given while investing and one should remain focussed and not guided by casual advice by any one over the net.

my 2 cents.

Do you think that this return of 2.75% would beat the inflation in the long run and you would have sufficient funds for your retirement?

This is the best option available (with RRSP Funds) with the stock markets going down due to a slowing economy.

ICICI is a member of CIDC. i think that the limit is $50K. I just opened a savings account yesterday and i looked at their RRSP section. I am soon going to transfer my RRSP from ING bank to ICICI since the % is attractive
