Has someone invested in RRSP mortgage?

Instead of investing in mutual funds for my RRSP, I am thinking to invest in self directed RRSP mortgage on my home.

How simple is this? Anyone doing this already?

Regards,

One can also park their money in Real Estate Funds under Seg Funds. Real estate seg funds have been performing very well.

Hi Amit,

Interesting to note that so many mortgage brokers/agents and realtors on this site who readily give quick replies and there are no answers to your question.

I have arranged RRSP mortgages for a number of people, if you wish you can contact/pm/email me and I can arrange to meet you to discuss the same. In the meantime, here is a link:

Take care and enjoy the weekend!

Great!

You are right about what you said. I will soon get in touch with you after the weekend.

Infact, I did PM one of our CD's well known mortgage professional, but got no response(my guess--regular RRSP and tax season is keeing our friend tied up). I also spoke to another financial consultant, but it seems that not many people know about this.

Is this because, there is no lender's fee or is it too complicated for many mortgage professionals or simply not worth one's time and effort?

Well, I will be more than willing to pay the professional's fee for making me money, as a result of their valuable advice.

Cheers,

Investpro,

Realtors specialize in REAL ESTATE, not RRSP, that's why other Realtors on the forum did not pitch in with their advice readily. This is precise reaqson why Amit (Realtor) asked the question on the forum from specialists like you for RRSP advice....

Will appreciate if you could share your advice to Amit's question on the forum so that others may benefit as well.

Thanks

Hi Rajeev,

That's exactly the thought that ran through my mind when I wrote my post. I was thinking that perhaps if I hook up with a realtor maybe we can leverage off each other.

So I am making my first overture to you. How about meeting up? Perhaps we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement.

Should you be so inclined, please pm me.

Regarding RRSP mortgages, anytime you wish pls pm me and I can meet up with you to explain how it works in detail. The link I provided is a good overview though.
