Sujata,

Having read your some of your 8 posts till now, I feel you are one person whose advice we could all benefit from since you seem to be clear in your thoughts and precise in your communication. I, and I am sure many other members of this site, would like to benefit from your own experience in this country and how you have been successful. We would like you to share that with us since there seem to be not too many people who are successful in Canada and visit this site.

May be you could briefly tell usabout you own background, when you came to Canada and how you approached professional settlement and overcame all the difficulties that many of us faced in Canada. That should be a great help and would serve the purpose of this site in a more pronounced manner.

Hi

I have applied for Permanent residence in Canada under Skilled Worker category in July 2002, and I received the receipt for the same on
September 2002. So far I haven’t received any letter regarding my application status from the Immigration section.

In online e-case application status it shows that, my file is IN PROCESS.
I am very much worried about the status of my application. I sent a fax also to Canadian High Commission - Delhi - but no feedback yet.

Kindly clariffy the below mentioned doubts.

** What's the processing time schedule for Skilled workers, who applied in September 2002?

**How long i have to wait to get my medical kit?

**If in case any delay in sending the medical kit they'll waived off an interview?

I would be grateful if you could help me in this situation by giving your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Rgds,
Mani.
