i am a doctor from india on a work visa. the contract is for one year and can be extended for 3 years.i just landed in canada a few weeks ago.
i would like to know whether i would be able to file in an application from canada.
i went to the canadian immigration website and it says that i need to be in canada for 3-4 years before i can apply.. did i get something wrong.
You can apply now. I'd suggest you to apply asap through Buffalo.

you can apply for pr and i dont know from where you read that you have to stay 3 to4 yrs in canada and then you can apply.

one thing more if you have a job in your hand right know then only apply cause lot of ppl like you have a great problem in finding jobs.
Before applying make sure that your Degree will be Valid & You can continue practice after getting your PR.
I know previously it was not possible to continue practice after getting PR without Studying & Residency.

yes. i am going to apply soon.. i have a job at hand now but its only for one year though it might extented for another 2 more years....
is buffalo the only option that i have or can i apply somewhere in canada
