Saw on the BBC this morning. There was a lady prof from IIT who prepared a report abt sex ratio in Punjab and was talking abt it. She was saying it is 3 girls to 10 boys.

DIO can you post the link please? I found the following on BBC but not the one you have quoted. The ratio is more like 7:10 rather that 3:10 as you have quoted.

Saw it on the tv, not the website. Her name is Ravinder Kaur, prof in IIT.

The worst thing to me in this article is that people abort/neglect female infants. Are they all being charged with murder?

Why dont they just give them up for adoption? There are so many couples waiting for a baby .. this kind of thing is so senseless and heart breaking.

i knew that the ratio is very low and i won't find my match there so i moved to canada hoping to find someone but daym still can't find anyone ....j/k take it easy (don't start bashing me)......it's really sad that the ratio is getting lower day by day. hope ppl soon get educated and change there thinking/preference about baby boy'
