I came to Canada 3years back with my family as a PR.After struggling for 1 year I got a job in my own field.I purchased the house and settled here with my family. In the mean time I got a job offer from India with good remuneration app. double of my present salary. Children are in high school . Indian company agreed to pay me 2 return ticket for Canada every year to see the family. Not able to decide. Anyone has the same situation in this forum. Please share or advice.
The Government of Canada does not have to know that you have a job offer in India. If you have the option to join at a convenient time at a later date, you can apply for the Canadian Citizenship and obtain a Canadian Passport and an OCI card and return back to India and continue where you left off. This is If you want to get the Canadian Citizenship.
The Dual Taxation treaty will provide you with relief at the Indian End, as the taxes will be with held at source, at that end. Make sure you do 'a clean break' from here, before you leave. I would like to impress upon you the benefits that you will have when you have your family near by with you. You don't want to have your two feet in two different boats. So, for you, the Family should come first.
Currently it is not the most opportune time to sell the house, as you just purchased it. And by the looks of things, it is not going to get better in the near future, but will not loose much or any monies by the sale of it, except commission for the sale. You will have to weigh the issue to make a decision.
Since you feel the salary attractive at the Indian end and also a ticket for travel thrown in, see if you can utilize it each and every year for your vacation, as perks.
As regards the education for the children, having lived and got an understanding of the educational system and the local weather, I am sure, that they will enjoy their return back to Canada if they wish to further their education in their field when the time comes. I am under the impression that they will also have their Canadian Citizenships too.
Wish you all the best in your NEW location, if you decide to move.
This is my take on the situation that you have given here.
Freddie.

My guess .. cut all residential ties so that you are not liable to fill a Canadian tax return .... cut all bank accounts , insurances , cards and all .
