I bought this LCD on a sale as the store said that Plasma Tvs has to be regularly injected wz gas every 2 years and the cost would be atleast 200 Dollars..
I tried to google but there is no clear indication as to which is a better choice..
I don't want to spend that money every 2 years..
Can someone tell me which is a better choice ? LCD or Plasma ?
Thanks
People buy LCD or Plasma. It is matter of choice. Every TV has a life but it is not that short that people say. Generally LCD last 22 years and Plasma 15 years.

On an average, the half life of Plasma and LCD are in the 30,000 to 60,000 hrs range. For a family like us, where in the TV is on for 12-14 hrs a day, that comes to 7-15 years.
In any case, families who are rich enough to own higher end LCD/Plasma, chances are they are not going to use the same TV for more than 10 years.
