I have a court date today. Will update what happened. i am planning to tell them, I went across to other plaza but also bought stuff frm this plaza. If they can waive, its fine, if not, then I will just pay.

don't worry aashu....just stick to it that you bought stuff in the plaza you parked & have your reciepts handy....I have similar law at tha plaza across my work...they cannot give you ticket if you shop in that plaza....if you have to tell that you went across the road(I understand your fear)....then may be ad that my wife was still in this plaza at another store.

Ok I went, they said we can make it $ 20 instead of $ 40 , I said I drove 40 min for this...he said ok how about $ 10 ? and I paid $ 10. but what a hassle to drive that far after work on a weekday. well its over now.

Oh ya and they said if I am not happy, i can go to court.

lol......what a pain....well I am happy for you that its atleast over

What can happen on Court date?
Is there any way to negotiate & settle only for FINE & waive demerit points

His timing is from 9am to 3 pm on Court date
Is that mean, he has to wait for Cop for all those hours?

If he decides to pay fine with demerit point, how much will it affect Car Insurance?
