My mother-in-law applied for the visitor visa to Canada with the reason that we are going to have our first baby and she could help my wife out with daily chores. Her application was rejected by Chandigarh office with reasons: a) She doesn't have travel history b) Visitor officer wasn't convinved that she would come back in a month and half (all that she asked to stay due to her own job in India) c) Insufficient funds on her side although she declared anough assets d) Insufficient funds from my wife and I as sponsor although we both have good jobs and bank balance. Is there something we can do so that she can apply again?
Looks like you have provided with sufficient documentation, but visitors visas are a hit or miss. Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do except apply again after a few months with even stronger documentation.
Aman: If I were you I would not say that I am calling my mother-in-law for daily help at home. Somehow that reason is not appreciated most of the times even though it is genuine.
Reapply after some time for a function of new arrival in the family and if possible add one reference letter from your local MP.
