AP CM Dr. Y.S.Rajashekara Reddy who brought back Congress to power by retaining the power in AP and contributing 33 + MP seats is missing in AP since the past 12 hours.
The 60-year-old Congress leader, who led the party to a remarkable victory in the recent Assembly and Lok Sabha polls, left Hyderabad for Chitoor at 0835 hours IST in a twin-engined Bell helicopter which lost contact an hour later. There was no trace of the helicopter, which got lost in bad weather.
As the home minister said "let us hope for the best and pray for the best"

He and others are dead. The chopper was off course by 18 km. As usual, there is fighting going on to succeed him.

Today the Karnataka govt has called for holiday "to respect the chief minister of AP". All the schools, colleges, offices and banks are closed.
Wow! This is the developing country. This is a complete BS. When will things improve? Will it ever improve? I cant figure out why the Karnataka govt has to declare a holiday because the neighbouring state CM died? There is too much political compulsions in our country that is hampering developments. I guess all to please the madam Sonia and in turn keep the opposition Cong(I) party at bay (Karnataka is ruled by BJP).
