Thanks for your reply. Gold purchase is for the wedding of my daughter, and hence physical gold is reqd.
My worry is the fact of delivery after 6-8 weeks of payment,and this is done by registered insured mail.

Check with Scotia bank precious metals division.
Option #1:
You can go to their downtown office(Scotia plaza ) and buy immediately without paying any mailing charge etc. you dont pay any HST.
Option # 2:
you can also order from any Scotia bank branch and collect it at the branch.But they charge shipping fee.
PS:I don't work for Scotia bank.
Yes ! I have used NWT in the past and they are good. But through Phone and they will ship the gold to you. The Online store is expensive

Inflation numbers have been coming in at under 2% last several months & quaters.
Yet if you look around the grocery stores or your monthly bills you will see the effect of inflation.
Rising energy prices (hydro & gas), higher taxes, higher essential goods and commodities.
I'd say inflation is running over 10% annualized in these items.
The only things that are cheaper are junk goods like electronics, gadgets, designer clothes and maybe cars.
