I received clearance from cic to immigrate a few years ago but due to some complication failed to submit the passports within due date. Thereafter I received a letter from cic that my landing clearance is cancelled. Now I am feeling an urgent need to migrate to Canada (I am 50 years old). I have three options, as far as I can see:
1. Reappply as skilled worker but very limited quota on specific NOC category.
2. Obtain an arranged employment offer and apply with that offer. I am even willing to visit Canada for a few days on a tourist visa, at my cost, to look for such an opportunity. My skills are very much in demand in oil and gas fields.
3. Join a post graduate course and on completion, apply for immigration. I can live for two years and bear the cost of the course for upto two years.
I appreciate all guidance in this reagrd. Thanks in anticipation.
You have a 4th option too, become a lankan tamil and hop on to a boat ..
