Yes you are doing a great social service. Keep up the good work.

I have a feeling that FIDO is doing some kind of research and for this research he is not getting any TIPS i guess -:)

No comments ... I guess the thread has been brought to its conclusion ..Some people have favored tips , some have not ..... Unless they make it mandatory there will be lots of people ( like me ) who won't tip and there would be lots who would .With an increase in numbers eating places would know which part is more and then demand & supply will take its own tune.

Despite giving good tip, next time when you re-visit a restaurant and get a bad/un-welcoming treatment, you will now know who recently paid visit there :). I had impression that it was racism, but now there is newly added dimension.

Same goes for non-tipper as well..despite not giving any tip, if they were warmly welcomed, you know who recently paid visit :)

Man I tried my best to refrain from commenting on this post..but this is last. I know more we support tip more you will feel yourself as revolutionary. May be try "Occupy" movement to abolish tip. I guess your efforts to justify your actions of wrondoing met with a strong resistance. Add a poll to this post just to see how many of desis don't pay the tips. I liked the matured comments/justification from KewlMallu.

Allright! On to halloween candy now. Topic is "Nobody gives me candy when I knock on their door, why should I hand out candy to kids on halloween?"

What's your take (pun intended)? :D
