TOURISTS TO INDIA... :
India, despite its vast size and diversity, rich culture and spectacular historical attractions, only managed to attract six and a half million foreign tourists last year.

To put that in perspective, Dubai attracted more than 10 million hotel guests in 2012, while Singapore received 14.4 million visitors.

The Indian government is striving to boost tourism numbers with plans revealed this month to open up visas on arrival to tourists from about 40 countries, including the UAE and the United Kingdom.

FH.

If it becomes a reciprocal agreement, then there will be free travel between the TWO Countries.

Reciprocity remains to be seen since there are many examples where countries do not follow reciprocity citing security concerns and what not. Select Examples :

Mexico has visa free travel to US citizens while US requires visa for Mexicans.

Malaysians require visa to US/Canada while Malaysia allows visa free travel for US/Cdn citizens.

Canada recognizes US green card holders for visa free entry while US does not recognize Cdn PR; rather only their citizenships dictate visa free / visa waived entries.

I believe UK has stringent requirements as well.

All of these One World Systems is good only on Paper. And for the birds, I mean bugs, bees, birds and for the birds who know how to cross without paying heed to their rules and regulations. AND

For dreamers.

They opened up the visitor visas for China an year ago. May be India is next on the list.

It all depends upon the tourist dollars and how desperate they are for the dough.

We should appreciate that it is a slick move on the part of India but it is also a sly move; right now, most Indian media know that the Nation no longer can keep the widespread gangrapes a secret. And thankfully, western women also are ralising it; hence the steep drop in tourism in recent years. I sure hope the tourism will stubbornly stay down, and force the Corrupt India, if it is at all possible, to develop a stronger and functional frame of Law and Order. Dubai, Singapoer etc are much better when it comes to cracking down on criminals... so ppl don't mind visiting there, at least for transit to other destinations

This is one out of the complete series of "SCAM CITY" stored on the You Tube for us to see. Here is one on India and there are many to see and make your own conclusions. Scammers are there all over the world. So, one has to choose the location that they want to go to and blow their wad or get scammed.

ENJOY.
