After a gap of 15 days i am back home after attending interview in France on 14th Oct. 2004.
For your information i already wrote of getting tourist visa for Switzerland and France for which i went for 10 days and attended the interview.
To my surprise the visa officer was quite co-operative and humble to us. She asked only few questions and our interview ended in 15 to 20 minutes.
The questions were:
1) My consultant didn't stated that my wife and son are going to accompany and had neither paid fee for them, so she clarified it whether they are going to accompany or not and if yes then pay fees for the same.
2) My total educational years one by one
3) My wife educational years one by one
4) My current job responsibilities and duties.
5) As I had applied as computer programmer, how many years experience and what project I had worked on and in which language.

After that the visa officer gave some tips as
1) All immigrants settle mostly in toronto but their many other places where you can settle down as their you will find less competition and same facilities of school, job etc.
2) She also told us to pay right of landing fee, for which she gave a letter to pay 1685/- Euro and the very next day we paid it. (spouse fee, one child and mine and my wife rolf)
3)She also told that we will be receiving medical letter very shortly within few weeks.

My question is
1) Will my medical request letter be sended on my address or at my consultant address. For your information I received interview letter directly on my address.

I think before 28th Jun 2001, people can file his immigration file for Canada from any country i.e. not require any residency proof for that country.

Correct my if I am wrong.....

Many counsultant in my city Ahmedabad doing same practice to save the time of immigration processing , not now but 3 or 4 years ago.

hi Kap,

It seems that they changed rule since May 01, 2003

There applicatiosn should be processed from there home countries, i know there is some exception to some countries.
