Hello Everyone,

I hope all are doing well. I have got my immigration papers and I am deciding to go to Buffalo to collect my visa.
Now if anyone has gone thru the same, please advise me on the following

1) What kind of visa do I need to go for to enter US?
2) Do I have to take a appointment to get a US visa or should I just show myself at the embassy. I live in Ottawa.
3) Which is the best way to go to Buffalo from Ottawa.

Actually, you don't need to go there. You can courier the PP to Buffalo and they will return the same with the single entry immigrant visa along with the COPR. Then you can do the landing by doing a flag pole U-turn at Niagara.

This way you will save USD 150 + other expenses (needed for the USA visa).
