This is related to the folder icon on the different sections of CD threads. It is yellow in color when unread. Everything was working fine until I cleared the cache on my IE. That is, I cleared the history, cookies, temp internet files, etc. Now, the yellow color has gone even on the unread threads. Will it come back once the cookies are embedded back on the computer? What's the deal?
Any thoughts? Thanks.

i dont think that yellow color or off-white color of folders has anything to do with the members, its for the moderators. When the topics are read by them the folder colour changes.
Hint: try clicking "mark all topics as read" on the below right hand side of the site, it refreshes the page but nothing happens to the color of the folders.
Also, try reading all the articles and still the colour does not change to off-white from yellow unless it has been read by the moderators.
just my two cents.
Please correct me if i am wrong GG

I understand its too late to answer this topic but then if you are still searching for the answer then Yes folder icon colors have to do with you clearing your browser's cache.
By default all settings are saved into cookies.
You must hav deleted the cookies and so the settings. I think folder icons color would be back once there would be a new post.
