Citizenship: Acknowledgment Time for Canadian Citizenship Application (Mississauga)

...It's been over 5 and a half months since a friend applied for Citizenship at the Mississauga Center (applied at the end of January/early Feb). He hasn't received anything in the mail from CIC so far. Can those who have applied recently say what is the normal time that one can expect some sort of letter from them?

Life: Poll: Where you live ???
Started by: Maharaj on 11 Jun 2004
...I saw the result ... No Surprises ... Mississauga is at TOP But I wonder why is so low for Etobicoke? I mean, to me it is pretty centralised location. Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto ... All the Highways are pretty easily accessible. I am right now in Etobicoke, and I seriously do like this place. But one issue I can think of ... No new Real Estate project coming up around north of 401. Whatever I see are fairly old around 30 years old houses and some old town houses.

Where to settle: Where to settle in Canada for labour jobs ?
Started by: tamilkuravan on 07 Apr 2015
...osted by tamilkuravan[/i] Dear CD's, I am helping some people immigrating to Canada and one question that they always ask me is : where should I settle if I want to start with labour jobs right from day 1? If oil price would have been $ 100 / Food price high / fertilizer price high, I would have given them the option of : 1. Calgary 2. Red Hat and thereabouts 3. Regina (Sask) But now, since oil prices are low, I am not sure what to advice them of. Even in 2010 (In Toronto), it was hard to get a easy labour job that paid you overtime. I am sure that this must be testing times there. I have been in Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph and Cambridge. No jobs there for ...

 Started by: imate2 on 30 Jan 2013
...Stick to the basics and you'll be alright. Less outside, junk food, eat more of lentils, veggies, fruits and an ample intake of plain water. This alone could do wonders. Our body doesn't only run with food and excercise, but also the kind of lifestyle we adapt. The stress level plays a crucial role as well as well as the happiness in our lives. Need to have a balance diet and lifestyle. At times it's easier said than done, but try. Who cares about these studies, anyway?
