Jobs: Indian Salary Update
Started by: azami on 19 Oct 2006
YEs-True: ... 70K in Canada and Rs. 4 lakhs in India (all annual salaries). However , with the same stated salary, if i was really stingy, then i would save more in Canada, than i would be able to in India. For equal balance of saving and enjoyment, Gulf would be the better option compared to Canada. If you had been in the Gulf, you can understand it. Indian atmosphere, foreign products/ environment, free paid annual ticket, Tax free salary, free medical, free housing, free food (in many cases) etc... TK A...

Till date (and it has been three years), whenever I visit my Indian friends, and my friends visit me (including occassional non-Indian), I make it a point to put on my Indian kurta-pajama - even in severe winters! It is this tradition that I believe in and want to pass it on to my children.

Also people who live far away from Toronto Area like Kingston, London, Thunder Bay and Fort McMurray (AB) or anywhere in Canada can help us by suggesting their comments on this question. I know buying grocery is very hard job. Particularly when it’s a time to enjoy with your family and that time one has to spend to buy the groceries. One who lives far away from the Indian Stores has to drive a long and sacrifice an important holiday. So, we’re planning to start a service to serve our Indian Community by providing an online grocery shopping. Thanks for your t...

You have to make the G1 written test and then you can book to give a G2 road test. With G2, yes you can drive all over Canada , even on high ways.
