After putting on a wonderful dance performance by Padmashree Shobana in Kansas City (September 2007), we are proud to bring you yet another contemporary, unique, musical art form from India by the "Indian Ocean"!!!
Indian Ocean is a fusion, rock band who are famous for their albums Desert Rain, Kandisa, Jhini and their music for the feature film 'Black Friday'. Their music is described as Indo-rock fusion with jazz-spiced rhythms that integrates shlokas, sufism, environmentalism, mythology and revolution
Indian Ocean are coming to perform in Kansas City on Oct' 03rd at Blue Valley Northwest HighSchool,13260 Switzer Rd, Overland Park. This is our fundraiser event for 2008 and all the proceedings of the concert go towards our current and future projects. It is going to be a challenge for us to have this and we wish to have all the help we can. Find the flyer and poster for the event attached.
