Would like to Congratulate everyone posting such vital info on this site!

We would be shifting to canada by end of May from Delhi. Can someone please advise which would be the city best suited for starting up a fashion accessories & jewelry business.

I have read umpteen posts about +ve and -ve of cities in canada but still have no clue as to which city will allow maxm exposure for a new start up on international fashion. Any views on the subject would be deeply appreciated.

Here's some very basic advice. I'm sure someone in the industry will provide much more info.

I should think either Toronto or Montreal.

Plus Points?

1) Good amount of multicultural population, even non-desis have good exposure to and will easily digest "diferent" ideas.

2) People have money to spend.

3) Both cities are recognized as Canada's fashion establishments.

Negatives?

1) You'll find a lot more competition.

Thanks for that missing "vital" link. Had no clue that Toronto or Montreal were considered as fashion capitals. Do you know of any one in this industry and could possibly refer to me.

Don't really know anyone in this field, sorry. I'm sure if someone else on the forum can give you additional pointers or references, they will. I'm sure you've done your due googling as well.
