We went to Fashion Outlets of Niagara Dec 27. Was toooooo crowded....

I personally can not shop in that crowd.

For kids clothes it seemed they are same priced as in Canada ...only tax cld be saved.

I zod and Calvin Klein had good deals. Overall nothing too attractive....

Whereas my colleague went on Dec 22 and due to a snow storm the mall was empty and she found many many really good deals..........

Aashu,
I donot think you looked well/ had the patience to look for deals..
Were you able to see that most of the stuff in branded stores are NEVER sold in Canadian stores? We sort of get the left over stuff.
When I had been there (2 years back), we did get some very good deals with price cuts of 50 % (considering US$ and Cdn $ to be at park). Esp. when we visited Children's place, we found stuff not availabe in Canada for the same price.
We has also been to another outlet mall some 60 miles from Detroit (6 months back) and we got even better deals than the Niagra outlet mall at Military road.
For example, a ladies shoe in Payless shoe store was US$ 17.99 while the same was Cdn$ 34 in Canada. Similarly, a down jacket was $ 8 in USA while it will be atleast $24 + in Canada. In the Hagar store, I found pants for $10 in the USA.
Last week , when I was in Chicago, we found the prices to be atleast 30% more than Canada (assuming both currencies at at Par). But this was not at Outlet malls but at regular children's place shop and Walmart.
Again, you will make a neat profit only when you buy for $300 or so. Otherwise, you will not get good return for the effort that you put in.

Hope this helps

Peace by TK
