Lord of The Rings ROTK 10/10
Movie is perfect. can't ask for anything more. Excellent direction, excellent special effects, excellent cast, excellent story.
The Last Samurai 7/10
Movie is decent. Tom cruse acts well, but I definitely don't think he deserves an oscar.
Cold Mountain 8/10 (warning: Chick flick)
Movie is really well made and acting of all 3 (Nicole Kidman, Jude Law and Renee Zelwggar) is awesome. Renee is one of my fav. actresses. Though this movie is made well, its a total chick flick and I got duped into it. Its a movie for the mushy guys or ladies. Van Diesel fans stay away!

Big Fish 8/10
This movie is very different from the rest of the stuff in hollywood these days and simply for that I give it such a high rating. Very difficult to describe, but I would recommend it, though you do need some patience for these kind of movies. It a very surrealistic kind of movie and Evan McGregor makes another impressive performance.

I'm waiting to see this one. Especially since I've been a fan of Tim Burtons work. He started off in animation too.

The butterfly effect 8/10
Although I have not been a great fan of Ashton Kutcher's movies, but this movie is much better than the silly movies he has made (remember Dude where's my car?).
This movie has a very unique script and has many twists and turns. It kept me engrossed throughout the movie (very rare these days for me) and I highly recommend it.
It is a sci-fi super-natural movie .. so if you are not into those kind of movies stay away.
However this movie is not a special effect bonanza, so you may want to wait for it on DVD/Video.
