Another way though not recommended is to rent from a shop and pay back to rental shop as lost. This could be lower in value as compared to library cost, as long as library accepts it. No reference of the source must be there on dvd.

I called up the library 2day.I was told that it has been renewed to the maximum limit then my call call was tranferred to sum lady who said that she just returned 2day from her vacation nd renewed it 4 another week!
If I find it till then...fine otherwise i hav 2 go 2 library nd fill up a replacement form nd ask if they accept used dvd.
Just FYI.

U could very well have returned the DVD and have fogotten about it.
Brampton libraries are not well managed and sometimes returned dvds are listed as still checkout...
This happened to me twice.. I had to write a formal complaint before status was corrected
No.....that's not the case.I still have the DVD cover with me....just the dvd is misplaced.
But on mismanagement of library part, I want to advise everyone that just in case u r dropping books/cds in drop-box on the last day...make sure to check the next day that hav deleted them on ur name as it happened with me twice....they had put fine...and incidently called nd nd told that i dropped the cd's previous nite then they deleted the fine.
