Please put things in perspective. I belive that you are naive if you ever thought that it happened as stated. The story just tells you the moral that an "indian always acts / thinks smart'.
See how my parents used the same "smart thinking". Actually it was told to them by a friend.
Others include ;
1. In a hydro included aprtment, always wash your cloths in the tub and heat up the oven and put your cloths to dry on a chair near it.
etc. etc... etc...

When I saw that on Sienfeld, I thought it was meant to be a joke. Never thought some people actually do use oven for drying clothes!

It would have been more appropriate to say that " Jairam Ramesh - Environment minister of India would get it "

A true patriot raises not only the Tiranga but also the issues even if they go against some fanatics of the likes of Bagchis who try to hide evils and tribulations in the society.
Hypocrites like Bagchis pretend to raise the Tiranga but will fly off to USA to escape the sweltering summer heat. They will get medical treatment for themselves and their families in Europe or, USA lest they die of what they consider are fake medicines & the quack doctors of India.
They will pack their children off to USA to collect a degree from a “riff-raff” university rather than put them in an IIM, IIT or, an Indian University.
They will pretend to hold their head and the Tiranga high during their overseas jaunts when a 150 million or more children back home, do not go to school but beg in the streets & go hungry to bed. They will hold their head high when over 80 % of rural India still does not have potable drinking water and when women have to walk 3-10 km each day to fetch a pot of water.
Its not "Mother" who is ugly. Ugly are her children - the fake patriots and hypocrites like Bagchi who discredit, disgrace, dishonour and shame Mother India. Why ? Because they are holding their head high while sitting & defeacating in their 5 star comfort "seats" while 70 % of India's women living in abject poverty, have to each day, rush to defeacate or, urinate before dawn or, wait till dusk falls to do just that!
Subroto Bagchis are the kind of sleep-walkers who will not bat an eyelid but, comfortably turn a blind eye to the sufferings of fellow human beings. Naturally, because, they are selfish, self-centered, intoxicated with their prosperity and engrossed with enriching themselves in their airconditioned comforts.

The irony is, most of these scars are given by Her own 'Sons'. Some 'sensibles' left her to go, live with rich and good looking Aunt. Others, who are putting on back there; are in two categories. One, who are living nicely (few); others who are living there. But, not many are doing anything to clean Her face.
