Two events that had me thinking

http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2010/01/15/terror-mumbai-canadian.html

It is scary to think that the guy who planned the Bombay massacre could be your next door neighbour - especially in Canada or US if you end up living in a "South Asian ghetto".

It is impossible to keep trace the flow of money, but it could be possible that the money that you spent in filling up your car may ultimately be traced to the funding of this act.

It hurts to see traders being harassed without any valid reason in a foreign country and I hope that they get released again. But was it necessary to begin these trade relations in first place, especially when we are well aware of the issuses we have with our neighbours? Maybe lure of money may be to strong to keep the personal safety out of hindsight. Maybe for a trader, money would always come before ethics/ideals. Perhaps they had it coming??

The issue of racist attack on Indians in Australia and Indian governments inability to take firm steps. We cannot evade that issue by saying that we Indians our selves are racist and cannot blame others. But what if say Canadians or Americans were attacked at regular intervals in foreign countries? What about the hue and cry raised about killing those foreign mercenaries in India? Not that I support that act, but shouldn't we step up and say - we cannot take it any more??

China knows that Manmohan Govt will not make any noise. MM is spineless puppett doll who , because of his mannerism (Soft spoken) and ELM campaign is well liked ny Indians , but is infact sidekick of Sonia. He sold India to USA by signing Nuclear deal, will give Kashmir on Obama's urging. He is the moron who has tried everything to please China, allowed all sort of imports of finished goods, allowed export of Iron ore to china and denied license to Tata.

What do you expect from this moron?

People in India deserve what they are getting for electing a congress government. The same as people in Ontario are going to get what the deserve, for re-electing Salesman McGuilty.

We reap what we sow

There is a reason for the Chinese harassment.

I purposefully gave this link to get a different perspective.

http://www.defence.pk/forums/china-defence/44000-three-chinese-engineers-arrested-india-2.html

Currently many chinese engineers are been held for the collapse of a chimney tower in Balco which killed a lot of people in India.

Many of them have fled from the location and there is a nation wide warrant to arrest them and interrogate them in regards to the collapse of the tower.

These arrests in China has been purposefully done to divert attention away from Balco disaster.

Tit for Tat.

Very interesting article.

Raises the following question of why are Chinese there in PoK as we call it or Azad Kashmir as they call it, and why are they building roads in Kashmir ?.

Road builders find bodies from 2005 Kashmir quake

A large number of local people gathered to help with the recovery
 Chinese road-building firm in Pakistani-controlled Kashmir  has dug up a van containing 17 bodies which went missing during the 2005 earthquake.

More than 70,000 people are believed to have died in the earthquake which hit north-west Pakistan and Indian-administered Kashmir on 8 October 2005.

Officials said the bodies had decomposed, but some were identifiable from clothing and documents.

Thousands went missing in the quake and many are still unaccounted for.

Police told the BBC Urdu service's Zulfiqar Ali that road workers found the passenger van in the Kamsar area, some 5km (3 miles) north of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Soon after the van was spotted, a large number of people, including relatives of those missing since the earthquake, arrived at the scene to help in the recovery operation and to identify their relatives, witnesses said.

Thirteen of the bodies were identified. They were from Muzaffarabad city and four villages nearby, police and witnesses said.

The five unidentified bodies include those of a woman and a child.

Police said the van left Muzaffarabad for Nauseri in Neelum Valley on the morning of 8 October 2005 and went missing shortly afterwards when the earthquake hit the region.

In June 2006 - nearly eight months after the earthquake - 13 bodies were recovered from a van buried in mudslide in Chalpani village, 10km (6 miles) from Muzaffarabad.
