India has won 4-0 and is poised to win the 5th One Dayer and whitewash England in the WWB (World Wide Batathlon) also called "cricket". Anyone who happened to watch this series would have found that even deliveries reaching 140 km plus at best hip height and mostly the deliveries were knee height, reaching the wicketkeeper one bounce.
In the earlier series played in England, it was cricket, for the bowlers too had a fair chance on bouncy tracks and our batsmen often going "fishing" outside the off-stump. At that time, our players were also troubled by the happenings at home, like Anna's movement and Baba Ramdev's movement, people who were fighting black money and money stashed abroad. Hence they could not read the movement of the English speedsters' deliveries. Now that the Congress government, have sorted out Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev, our players are at peace and could bat, bowl and field well.

Are you really serious about what you wrote , Anna 's movement impacted psyche of Cricketers that too when they were 7 seas away ?? really! Thats funny for me!
Well its great to see India winning and doing the whitewash !
Nothing funny if we really consider the amount of money these people earn by way of IPL and other tournaments.
In India, thanks to news media we still consider them heroes, even after some of them were shown the door after enquiry for match fixing by a honest and upright retried CBI Director, by the name Madhavan Nair, if I am right.
Anna and Baba Ramdev had on their agenda, black money and money stashed abroad. That they positioned their demonstration in Delhi got lot of media attention.

4) Baba Ramdev is the "item" guy in Indian politics, he can be best described as a "Rakhi Sawant" of Indian politics !!!!! |So i wont hold my breath if i were you for him to do anything "drastic" to change Indian polity.
1. Travelling from India to cold climates of Canada to make money. Why should we talk about it in the same breath when we talk about people allegedly making money by fixing matches, or making money by wrong means and stashing them abroad. I did travel to Canada for better future for my children. It was a personal decision that living in the “small village” in Tamil Nadu seemed to be better than living in what I thought was “cold storage”. Returned to India for good several years ago. There are a few others like me but many others think Canada is a better place to live and are successful. It is their personal decision.
2. About the role currently played by the media in India, better look for the discussion Karan Thapar had with Justice Markandeya Katju, Chairman, Press Council of India, in the Devil’s Advocate Programme of CNN-IBN telecast Monday, 31.10.2011.
3. No wonder people who sank the Bofors and Bhopal tragedy to the abyss, cannot remember the honest and upright CBI Director Madhavan Nair, who unearthed sordid details about the scandals. The same gentleman conducted the enquiry on behalf of BCCI and submitted his report. The BCCI on the basis of his report did take action on a few players, but did not make the report public. People like Arnab Goswami, Rajdeep Sardesai, who wouldn’t mind unearthing secret documents involving the security of India, and flaunt them on TV screens, never got a “chance” nor did bother to do the same with this particular report. Apparently, BCCI seems to be more powerful than the Government of India.
4. The “Rakhi Sawant” and “Item Guy” of Indian politics, did stand up and got counted. He did not mind risking his business worth several hundred crores and several million followers. I do admire him for the same, though I come from a “small village” in Tamil Nadu, do not know more than the Char Run ke liye Sushil Joshi Hindi and hence not able to follow the "Item Guy".
Finally, like our own Puttoo of Canada, there is this “Dig” Vijay Singh of India, who every time anyone talks about corruption or black money under the Congress regime, carry out vituperative personal attacks on the person’s integrity. He has discovered that RSS is behind the movements of Anna and Ramdev. He is likely to discover that the people of India were behind the Freedom Movement of Mahatma Gandhi. Actually, he and his co-workers in India and abroad are the ones, unashamed to be life time members of the underground RSS, i.e., Rahul Seva Sangh working in the name of Indian National Congress.
