Can you please tell me how did you approached the company.

Did you inform them in cover letter that you have got PR and
planning to land.

Well, I am not DBA, but played DBA role in few projects. I am entirely in Development side with database experience in Oracle,Sybase,DB2,
SQL Server and ETL tool Informatica with perl and some datamodeling tools.

Apart from this I have sound knowledge of project estimation, Design using Ration rose and CMM quality process.

I have Oracle certification although.

I am not migrating Canada for Jobs, but if I can get job initially, this will help me in settling down in early few months and also it will give me some time to do the business planning.

I am also from Bangalore and posted at Singapore at present.It would be great help if you can share job hunting approch and methods from being out of canada.

Hi Raj,
Yes i mentioned it in the covering let but they also asked me to scan the landing paper and email it to them. after couple of weeks the calls came in. not only this after my final interview the hr guy insisted that i buy my tickets within one week of getting the appointment conf and email to them the ticket scan otherwise they eill not make this appointment valid.Well this is all for this time from tomorrow i will busy with me week's schedule.i will answer any further query next week end.
