Thanks you all....
Sumit for you suggestions...
Yes Masood, I have posted this mail in the wrong section.
Sdg is right.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
well panda then me tell you the real fact about It scenerio here. if you feel that i just made a passing comment. The fact is that your degree will be not be recognized here. your it experience in IT in india will not be counted. here you have to have canadian experience. for oracle / SAP/or any damm software has to be run as per canadian way which here they think works different. I am not joking that's the fact out here.
if you are still not convinced Why not start applying through workopolis.you will feel the truth immediately or wait till you land up here and feel the pinch.
if you are serious to be successful here get a job in canada sitting out there in india for hot skills. i had arranged a job like that before landing here. i have seen my freinds who have made the mistake of landing here and then looking for it jobs they have in fact landed in labour jobs and are still struggling to get a luck in IT. You say why join the labour job rather that wait for the right IT job. Man your dollars will vanish and you will have no money to return back.
well for your knowledge the hot skills are SAP mainily financial. Oracle pl/SQL programmer/DBA 9i, Java.
pls note that you will need to have certifications with advanced standing to get noticed.
It scenerio has changed in canada. there are now at present not many jobs but there are good nos of qualified people who definetly will get preference.
Further if you know good FRENCH, then that will be an asset to get a quick break in It .
Well this is the scenerio rest upto you to decide. Well in real terms i have a good job but i definetly miss the working atmosphere in Bangalore. Its's better to work in India and go for short assignments abroad. That's better to earn good money here man income taxes range from 26% to 46%. What you earn you give the max to govt and in return they give you nothing. (Oh those free health and education, do not bank on them , India is much better placed particularly cities like bangalore and hyd)
Well friend that's all its upto you to take decision.

I got a fantastic job in Canada in SAP field within one week by virtue of my USA working experience but I truly believe that IT job standard in Canada is far far behind than in USA.
Even in India IT companies are now much more professional and a major change in work environment developed over last couple of years
After getting my Canadian citizenship I won't mind moving back to USA or even going back to India .My own perception is as far as career growth in IT field is concerned both those countries are better than Canada

A person is never more on trial than in a moment of excessive good fortune.
Hi Sumit,
That information was really good. I appreciate your time.
Yeh, I have been in Hyderabad and I do travel to USA for short span on work assignment. I know couple of people who have applied for Canada immigration - and they are confused.
As you said, I feel the same way. IT sector in India has gone up leaps and bounds than what it was few years back and I assume the pay scales are also good.
Thanks again for the information.

Hi Raj,
well yes i got a good job as an Oracle DBA sitting at Bangalore. The firm is a leading manufacturing company based in Montreal. the interview was conducted over telephone twice and it was quite lengthy.I was given provisional appointment letter indicating that i will have to sit for a written assignment before joining. I got this reference from a search in google.ca .
Well but the most imp thing is that your certifications should be of highest standard to get noticed. in my case i had both the oracle and linux certification.
well i have completed 9 months here in montreal and lets see how things work out but i definetly miss India and would definetly return back after about a year. With the reverse trend already starting and lot of jobs from Canada also being outsourced to India, it seems India holds a great future as far as IT is concerned.
