The PPF in collaboration with other like-minded organizations (like Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), South Asian Bar Association of Toronto (SABA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Ismaili Students Association (ISA), PPF and Finance and Accounting Professionals Alliance (Ontario) ), invites professionals from all fields for a learning and networking luncheon on "Social Media Presence ? Constructive or Counterproductive?"

The Event:
Social media has transformed the way people find information and interact with each other. It has become an important addition to the marketing and communication tools available to everyone; professionals and businesses are no exception to this.
Do you know, what impact Social Media has on your day to day life and what role it could play in your personal, professional and business lives? Wondering if and how should you engage with Social Media to improve your chances of success professionally? Should your business embrace Social Media for marketing? Skeptical about its ROI? Unsure how it will fit with your overall growth strategy? Great questions! These and many more similar questions will be addressed at this event by an expert in the field, Raheela Nanji. The session will be followed by a Lunch and networking with participants of the event.
The Speaker:
Raheela Nanji, is the Owner of the Social Media Consultancy, Ree Consulting. Her business focuses on consulting with clients, providing coaching, and speaking at events. Ree Consultancy represents clients in the UK and in Canada, and includes brands such as Jamie's Italian, part of the Jamie Oliver brand. With 16 years marketing experience from the UK, working with some of the biggest brands there, Raheela comes from generations of entrepreneurs, and has had her own businesses in the UK, Dubai and now Canada.
In her spare time, Raheela undertakes extensive voluntary work where, during her two years in Canada, she has launched an Internship Program, headed up the Skills and Employment Program for her community, managed the Social Media for the World Partnership Walk, managed the Twitter account for the Friendship Bench and manages various platforms, from a strategic perspective, for her community. She is also a trained hula-hooping instructor, an avid cook and is, in her own words, 'inspired by everything she experiences on a daily basis!'
