Hi All,
In India we have those trading business where a trader buys items from wholesale market(Like Abdul rehman street in Mumbai, Sadar Bazar in Delhi), and resells to either manufacturers or bulk consumers industries, (not retailin to actual user) are such business being practised in TO? Canada in general?
If so can anybody guide on various types of industries where such traders have scope of operations.
Like in Mumbai we have wholesale market for practically all items, "dana bunder" for grains, For industrial hardware (Nagdevi street), Lohar Chawl (for electrical goods) etc etc.

Wholesale business is everywhere in the world and canada is no exception. Most of the stuff i presume is imported from USA and other ameriacas, but one think i can comment is that there is no collective markets like in India. Everything is scattered. One would require to know exactly where to buy best stuff.

Hi Manjeet, Thanks for your rply, you mean to say that there is no consolidated place \market where these wholesalers are located, ? is there any association of wholesale traders? some info from where you can start ?
I am interested in starting supplies to industries, how should I go about it? is it feasible\possible or no? does there exist any such system like ours?

What i have understood or evaluated so far is that Toronto, Alberta has lot of industries. Alberta more on Oil and Gas and toronto more on auto industry.

The link provided by "yours truly" could be very helpful. That is the only source which can be considered neutral so some extent.
