"Le Taj" is Very Good Resturant on "Stanley Street" in Down Town Area. Near from Mc Gill University side.
One-two more good resturants are their near by, even one is with the same name "TAJ", but "LE TAJ" is the best.

I second that!! Tale your non-desi friends along too..they will love the masala-dosa, bhel-puri, pani-puri(this ones real good) and other such snacks from mumbai.
p.s: they are well priced too.
