THE PROFILE:

the person they are looking for is a senior person (7-10 yrs experience), has good knowledge of OSI products and of process control systems. Able to develop solutions, lead project implementations and manage small project (~$500K/6 months). This person would have the Clients resources in Montreal to use to staff the project but would be required to lead the project and interface with the client. some business dev, Proposal writing will be required but they have resources that can assist and mentor in this area. At first business development will be done by others but it is envisioned that this person will take over these responsibilities. Over time this person would need to staff and develop their own team in Mississauga to deal with the projects in this region. Knowledge of other data historians and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) would be beneficial. Knowledge in heavy process industries would be beneficial since we deal with mining/metal clients and this product is used quite extensively in the Petrochemical and refinery industry.

The Company is expanding their Collaborative Manufacturing practice and desires to find a suitable candidate to provide technical leadership from our North American headquarters located in Mississauga, Ontario.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering)
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with manufacturing execution system technologies (e.g., OSIsoft, Wonderware, Rockwell, Aspentech, Lighthammer, etc.)
- Experience in translating client requirements into a functional architecture
- Ability to develop project estimates and manage work plans
- Strong track record of successful implementations in industrial environments
- Ability to effectively transfer knowledge and provide on-the-job training
- Post-implementation technical support & troubleshooting experience
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel on an as-required basis
