I am going to open a Pakistani restaurant very soon, and I was thinking about offering my main dish: Chicken or Mutton Palao with shami kabab, raita and salad.
I beleive it is kind a unique as nowadays its Biryani everywhere, so for a change i am presenting my rich Palau Combo.
What do you guys think about it?
Your advise is really valuable to me and do tell if you have some other unique menu ideas, I will be really very gratefull and will give you special discount when you will come visit me at my restaurant!!!

Hi,
Good change in menu. My mouth waters!
When and where are you gonna' open this restaurant? I wish to be your first customer.
If you see Newwin centre at Dundas-Hurontario, they have a pak. restaurant and you should see the crowd for his dishes which are both good and cheap. But he is a bit slow in serving and you should speed things up so that more customers will come in this fast moving age.
regards
TK

A nice pakistani cuisine will be a very welcome change. I dont know of any in Mississauga/Brampton area. Well, I do know some, but they do not serve some of the things I would like to see there. For example, a 'thali' type deal.

Don't make it too oily. Most of Paki hotels i have eaten have so much oil dripping out that i can fill up the oil tank in my car .

Well, thanks for the advices, I will post location of restaurant as soon as it is open.
Yes, I agree, that major drawbacks of our Desi Restaurants' are, their food is high in fat, nutritiously low, not fresh, costumer service is unsatidfactory and slow speed indeed. So, definately these things should be taken special care of.
Pakistani food majorly carries variety of Kababs(non-veg) in the menu like Seekh Kabab, Chapli Kabab, Shami kabab, Tikka, Bihari kabab etc. Secondly, there are curries(both veg. and non-veg.)served with Naan or Roti and different kinds of Rice like Biryani, Palao and Fried Rice etc.
So, both vegeterian and non-vegeterian can have it.
The appetizers and sweets have now become global, as they are yummy and for everyone.
So, i guess all these foods are healthy choices which would be made fresh everyday.
We are fresh obsessed!;)
