Hi All, I hoping someone can guide me in this situation.
My wife and I have 2 small children and may require help in taking care of them while we work.
My wife's parents are in India and would be available to help us. What we cannot figure out is what are choices are in this matter. They are not to keen on making Canada their permanent home. They are both retired and self supporting.
Could they come here on a long term (multiple entry) vistor visa for the primary purpose of helping us take care of children when needed? What kind of length in vistor visa would be available to them? Extensions?
They were here on a 6 month visa a few years back.
If they are here on a long term visa, can they be sponsered while they are here, if needed?
Have other people been in similar situtations? How did you handle it?
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your main concern should be their health coverage. You have to buy private insurance for them as visitors.
