Nikhil,
I seriously doubt the legality of this statement. If you really broke their head and they were bleeding , you normally would have been prosecuted (Unless as you claim your dad was an IAS officer and which is of course derelation of duty). You still could have been prosecuted if those guys whose heads that you broke wished for it. Know that the minicipality is given powers by the law to catch stray animals and kill them.
SPCA is not so powerful in India nor is menaka ghandi empowered to each and every act of abuse and hey! no one is illtreateing animals to an extent of beating it to death.
I personally hate people who put pets above the dignity of a human being.

pets have no relationship to a person's dignity. Except one that doesnt know how to treat a pet.

MR,
And what would you say to a desi person (that i know) beating his wife with slippers and making the need for 6 stiches on her head?. Still the wife did not complain to police. They are pure vegetarians.

TK,

We have honestly done it and I am glad we did it. If they were doing their duty they could have easily carried the week old pups by hand but instead they hung them by their tails and carried them to their van. If I had seen them doing it now I wouldn’t have broken their heads but also their hands and I am pretty serious about it. My dad is not an IAS officer but a lawyer and knows all the local cops hence no action. We threatened the dog catchers that they were molesting women and we could have easily got as many witnesses as we needed. Who bothers about the cruel and mean dog catchers and the memory of the bricks hitting their heads gives me such pleasure to this day. You know why because when they catch a dog with a lasso they drag it with such brutality that the poor dog almost dies of suffocation.

And for your information as well as other animal loving members in this forum do you know how some of the municipalities kill the stray dogs in India? They have an apparatus which looks like a huge scissor which they put it around the dog’s neck and they then kill it by putting pressure on the apparatus so the poor dog dies slowly by strangulation. Pretty mean isn’t it I wonder which religion allows such cruelty.

Oh and by the way I never donate to any charity for human causes but I generously donate to the Humane Society because I like animals so much.

Nikhil
