Hi all CD's,

I am going to apply for my parents Multiple visa on next month, last year Visitor visa was refused for same 5 reasons.

This year my wife and me both are full time working and we showed a strong back home attachments, financial background here and back home as well, etc.

I have few following questions if someone help me or share your views will help me a lot before sending application.

1. My parents passport is going to be expire next year i.e. July 2011. will this will effect or difficult to get Multiple visa or not? they are planning to come on this June - 2010.

2. If we got a visa (if we are lucky) than same visa sticker will eligible for new passport or we needs a new visa sticker on new passport?

Thanks in advance..........

A multiple-entry visa is valid for a maximum of five years or one month prior to the expiry date on the passport/re-entry visa, whichever is earlier.

hope this helps.

Good luck

Thanks frnd for reply and link,

I already made a sponsorship letter with Notarization for Multiple Entry Visa through lawyer and we mentioned in sponsor letter for multiple Visa but now due to this passport issue, Do i need to do again for new sponsorship letter for Single - entry visa or we can use same letter for Single-entry visa? as we mentioned in letter for Multiple Entry Visa.

Thanks

if the visa is rejected, just reapply with the requested documents for example if T4 is requested, send a copy or write a letter explaining the inability to do so, one of my friend's parents got the visa after getting rejected 3/4 times!

All depends on wording of the letter you sent. As I have no idea about the letter, safest 2 options are:

Option 1 : Get 1 yr multiple entry visa (if it's worth)
Option 2 : Send a new invitation letter

PS : I am not expert in this field

One sponsorship letter is O.K. for the Multiple Entry Visa. But to have a Five Year Validity for the same, the Passport MUST have a VALIDITY for that long a period for them to issue for that length of time. Otherwise, they will issue for just One Year, unless India has started to issue them for a longer periods, prior to the expiry times.

So when your Parents apply for a Multiple Entry Visa, make sure that the Validity of their Passports exceed the five years required and then make the request for it.

Freddie.

Thanks all of you for reply,

Whatever reply i got from fellow CD's that means i have to go for new invitation letter which sould indicate for Single-entry visa instead of Multiple Entry Visa.

As i mentioned in my previous post, invitation letter was ready with multiple entry visa request. but know be a safe side i am planning to go for new Invitation letter with Notarization for reqeusting for Single-entry visa.

see what happens now this time.......
