But when we leave our own country, we should try to mix in the new society and try to make friends from other (US/Cdn) cultures, rather than searching for the Indian neighbourhoods to make friends. If the same thing (having a white cop/TV ancor) is thought by any western/white person, that person will be termed as racist. Is this fair? TK A Sidenote : Actually, when i read that incident, I was very proud of the boy's achivement. I did not that that so many Cd's would be against it. I naturally could understand the Indian medical personal's grudge. This is b'cos medical doctors elevate their profession as if all and anything can be performed only by them (similar to the Canadian way of needing Canadian experience/qulification). Remember that 20-30 years ago, Childbirth was done by old ladies in the village....
