I am an Oracle person. You can say - born and brought up in Oracle.
Never worked on SQL Server.
We will be migrating to SQL Server from Oracle 10g. I know I have to start getting into .. but my question is - how and where should I start learing sql server ?
Any books ? url ?
I'm sure CDs much have gone such transition.
Any links to that direction will help.

If you want classroom coaching, you can enroll for SQL Server course at Humber college, it's good. Check the following link
http://calendardb.humber.ca/LIS/WebCalendar/CE/CourseOffering.do?name=CPAN_703
You can go the website of sheridian, centennial and other colleges also as they may be offering web based courses. The course at humber has started on Jan 16 but they will take you within a week. So decide fast. Regards, books and CD, please visit any college bookstore and you may find material on sale. All the best!!
Quote:If you have access to the SQL Server software, pl. install online help and Books Online.
