I have 1996 Toyota. Have full coverage. Occasionally used. Thinking to keep only liability and drop the other. Will teh ins co allow this?

Check the black book value of car and market value of car. If you think it is vey low (say for example less than $2K or $3K) and you can bear the burn of loss then only go for 3rd Party.

Insurance cos. will only ensure that you have the prescribed minimum limits. other than that they would not bother.
rest is for you to consider.
