Desi Tiger,
You are right. It doesn't help to be meek and polite in this world. If someone has been hurt (and I don't mean physically) that person has every right to assert himself.
Canada as a civilized country has its laws to protect its visible minorities from racial attacks.

Tamilkuravan,
It is definitely against the law to make any racial comments in Canada, nobody can ask you to leave the country but the law, whether they are gora, kaala or brown.
'I will kill you; can be a very serious threat (if only taken to law, police).
8 years back we were renting a bsmnt of Punjabi family & their son (18 years old) who was born here had gotten into the same situation like the one you described but this guy was smart enough to go to the gora couple & tell them his rights in this country as a citizen. On that the white lady had apologized to this Indian kid on behalf of white guy.

Hello CD members,
This incident happened yesterday at a Shell petrol station located on Dundas St. W between Hwy.10 and Cawthra.
A Supposedly Canadian (Gora) lady was filling gas and an Italian Senior was waiting behind her for his turn. I think that she was slow /late in filling and that the Italian senior pointed his hand from inside the car. Once the woman came back after paying for her gas, she went straight to the Italian senior as asked him why he pointed his hand. I could not hear what the Italian senior said b'cos he still has his doors and windows shut. The argument went heated and the Canadian Gora lady shouted to the Italian Senior " Why donot you just get back to your country". At this statement the Italian senior opened his car door and shouted in broken english "I will Kill you". The Gora lady then asked " Excuse me, What did you just say?". The Italian senior repeated his threat. At this point the Canadian Gora lady said the "F" word but it could have also meant another word starting with"F" but not having a Vulgur meaning. She then went to her car, talked something to her partner but then drove off.
I was watching the scene all along. I took note of both the number plates in case they should call the police but they did not.
I was shocked at this incident. Who was at fault? Can a "Gora" ask us to leave back to our country? If the police had come and i told them the incident that had happened who was at fault?
Mature answers only please. Please donot deviate from the topic. I had posted this b'cos it might educate the new immigrants arriving about their rights and previlages.

Hello Fellow CD's
If some one tells others to go back to their country very easily that should be immediately informed to Police and the matter shall be taken to the immigration office notice.
Truly speaking Native Indians are the primary citizens and all others are secondary or tertiary landed immigrants. Never mind go away from the sitution.
