I was ripping old Jagjit Singh & Lucky Ali CDs today..and then happened to browse through my Mp3 collection....!! Impressive is all I can say?

Any Desi's and Desan's interested in them ?

"Aaj ke Daur mein, aye dost, yeh Manzar kyon hai ?"
"Dairon Haram mein Basne walon, Maikhano mein Phoot Na Daalo"

I must admit, my urdu has improved listening to his songs

What abt Lucky Ali !...

For some reason never liked Ghazals.

Jagjit singh is about the only one i would listen to.

Now you have got me thinking....

& my perennial fav.

udhar ke hum hain" (Sailaab - the ZEE TV serial..music by Talat Aziz, who himself is also a very talented singer)..

I Must admit. I cant bear to listen to anyone else after listening to Jagjit Singh.. truely..he is Baadshah-e-Ghazal

BTW do you have his latest CD with you ?
