Links provided here under has most of the information you are seeking and in detail. The people in Calgary are listed there in. There are a lot of grocery stores there. Lots of homes, good tiffin and great services too. There is a compilation of all of these and you will find a BIG book with all of the details, pick one after you land there. If it is an older copy, find out when the new one arrives. Find the schools after you settle down or find a good school with all of the features you are looking for and then move into that neighborhood (Vice versa). Remember you only have seven days. Prioratise your search. Print this page and keep it handy. WRITE down and carry important information on your PERSON.

Indian grocery stores are generally in the North-East of Calgary & that is where a significant Desi population stays & where rents & houses would be cheaper. Another good area is the North West & the South East. If you do not have your own transport immediately, it would be a good idea to stay near downtown.
Thanks & rgds.

Let's make India a better place !
Hello
Temple North East is the Best place to stay as Whitehorn Station is very near u need just one bus and its 10 min route to the station , also opp.Temple Drive u will find Whitehorn Drive...
There is Temple Strip mall where u find all shops , indian shops , restaurants , movie rentals ( who's a fren) the Grocery Store is called A1 GROCERY ..
U will basically find everything , once u start with that place then u will slowly be axposed to Calgary ...
Also u can rent a basement in Calgary , North East Area in about 450-600 Canadian $$$.....
Other Areas include Falconridge,Martindale,Coral Springs
My one year in Calgary was a unforgetful lifetime experience and once i get my PR i will only move to Calgary , will not think of any other province , it feels like home....
