I am planning to move Calgary and i want to know how's the job opportunities in Calgary ? I heard that Calgary is not that much expensive compare to another cities of Canada.
In which area of Calgary i can find our Indian people living ?
In which are of Calgary r the most office jobs available ?
Does Office job experience from Toronto work out in Calgary ?

Hi,
North East in Calgary is the area u will find Indian people more.
Downtown that is main city u will find more office job as most of the offices are in downtown.
Definately Torranto experience will help.

Hi!

I have a few friends in Calgary they even like it better than Toronto!

Plus is that it is a smaller city and a smaller desi population (than GTA) so more of a "family"feel. Probably a little bit more difficult to get a rental apt. to share than Toronto.

Most job openings are in the oil/energy field. Chemical engineers find it the easiest, some tech jobs in Edmonton too - but much colder!
