As per the New Delhi CHC web site, the present waiting time for interview is 42 months !

Is there anybody in the forum of 2000 case (New Delhi), who have either finished their interview or received a waiver within this time limit ?

I am not sure if I fully understood your question.

I applied for immigration in Jan 2001 and got my landing papers in July 2003. Yes, I did get a interview waiver.

hi fernandes,

i think the time between the medical exam and the approval varies.

i had my medical in august '03 and had the approval in october '03.

the visa is valid only 1 year after the medical exam. thats why i guess the embassies dont want to hold your papers that long after your medical exam. so if you had your medical last nov '03, just hang on, you're visa is coming soon! (i.e., assuming you didnt have any medical problems)

You seem to be very lucky, that is probably why you did't get my question !

I was thinking everybody has been waiting for 48+ months for interview !
You seem to have got everything completed in 28 months. That seems too good. What was the trick ? Where you too in the independant category ? Did you apply in Delhi or elsewhere ?

Did you guys (and girl) submit the passport along with medical results ?

Or was is asked for by the CHC after the receipt of medical reports ?
