Finally we recd interview waiver and medical instructions today from CHC Delhi.
We applied in Oct 2000
Were scheduled for interview in the first review.
Interview was supposed to be held within 2 years.
On our own sent IELTS ( band 7 ) in Feb 2003.
Did not hear anything from CHC till Dec 2003. In Dec 2003, recd a letter from them asking us to submit IELTS and new IRPA forms.
In May 2004 recd waiver and medical instructions. Also we have been advised to pay ROLF and recent police clearance certificates.
Hope this helps other 2000 applicants who got mass mailers in Dec 2003

Congrats, mine is a similar case except that I filed in April 2001. I gave IELTS test on my own (got 8 band) in Oct. 2003 & got letter in Dec. 2003. Gave medical in May. I have sent ROLF, application fee for wife & kids, police clearance, original passports, etc.

What about you? When to expect visa? Intended destination?

We did medical on 24th May and sent RPRF , passports, PCC etc on 28th May
Now awaiting visa..it takes from 3 weeks to 6 months so just can't plan anything rightnow. We don't want to land there in winter. I have a sister in Toronto so initially we will be going to Toronto

Hi Anujark,

Even the dates are similar for medical & PCC. I had sent the RPRF & proof of funds in April end & May 1st week.

We too have been thinking that if we get visa in dec. then we will go in April after the academic year ends. Also, my wife's Yoga course will get over in Feb. only. But if we get visa in August, then we might go in September as academic year starts there in Sept. There are Teacher courses for Yoga in Canada too. Maybe I might go alone early. Not really decided yet.

Our original destination as per file is Toronto so who knows we might land up in Toronto too.
