Did anyone watch the Grammys last night?

Dixie Chicks ruled supreme!

Some amazing stuff! The Police reunite to play Roxanne to kick start the evening! Grand performances of Hotel Califronia, Shakira, Christina Aguilera.
Tribute to Tony Bennett, now 80 and still singing!
Also legendary James Brown on video with amazing foot work- yeah the good foot!

Ludacris, Chris Rock, James Blunt, Justin Timberlake...

One fantastic evening, all in the comfort of one's sofa sipping wine, crunching on minced meat and cheese nachos, olives, hummus, pita bread, chicken sate with peanut sauce..... heaven!

Ughh! I used love the ceremony but they have gone south in the recent past. There were some passable moments but this was one of the worst grammys I have seen. It has lost its class and is just a pathetic sham. Yuck!

All said and done, it depends on one's musical taste too I suppose. If Justin Timberlake pleases one's ears, all the power to you...this is your era!!

I did hear a lot of the excellent show this year...did anyone record it? Would like to see it...
