What an amazing job from Uthappa and the openers!

As far as I can remember, we've always lost when it has come down toa wire in the last over. And I was expecting history to repeat itself, but boy was I happy to be proven wrong!

That's the kind of play India needs. An aggressive finish to an aggressive start! And a win to top it off.

Hope we play likewise in the final, regardless of which team wins.

Yeah, we came through despite losing our way half way through the innings.
I had gone to lunch expecting that the game is all but over and we will lose (after India lost the 5th wicket).
I came back to find that we had won in style.
Winning under pressure by putting up a fight is exactly what fans want to see.

BL,
I second that.
I have been watching the scores of India right from the minute that i stepped into the office and it was gerat watching it. Tendulkar put us on the fast track. The middle order was clumsy but Uttappa and Dhoni managed to take it nearly to the end.
I went for lunch when the win needed 7 runs in 4 balls (the last wicket to fall had jutst fallen) and I was 99% sure that we would not make it.
Imagine my surprise when i came and foudn that Utappa hit 2 consecutive 4's to win the match with 2 balls to spare.
He should be made the man of the match.

Three cheers to India on this one.

TK A

Note : Hope Rahul does not take the credit to himself.

Sounds like we all need to take lunch more often :)
Then India can win every time

:D. Whatever it takes!

I was following the scores on cricinfo and in the last over, after Uthappa hit the first four, I'm refreshing like crazy expecting to see a W on the next ball. And it was a 4!

Good job by Dhoni as well at the end, too bad he didn't last otherwise this could've been easier. Uthappa definitely deserves the MOM award for keeping his nerves.

And what about that Macarena guy hitting 5 sixes in an over ?!?!

Must have been exciting for him - treading the footsteps of greats from the past.
Too bad he missed out on the first ball.

I haven't seen the game at all, but I suspect the boundaries are short.

Over 630 runs scored in a day is pretty rare.

I was listening commentry on 101.3 fm they started commentry for last 3 overs I was driving when one over remaing with 10 runs and 3 wickets in hand but I was doubtful as Dhoni was out and tailenders supporting Uthappa. I switched off the radio by remembering we always loss during critical times when I was either listening or watching cricket. when I get back to home and started TV I listen we won. It was great! Our team rarely successful in such tense situation. Thanks to Uthappa
